“There was more to this story than just the K-9s but they were definitely central to the plot. Kye and Yardley’s history was a surprise and very emotional. I loved their backstory and both are perfect for each other because they are polar opposites in disposition. With Yardley’s strong Alpha personality, it works. Their romance was rocky and definitely unconventional, keeping me off balance.
The mystery and suspense was strong with an exciting climax. It’s one of the best in the series to date and I’m very happy that the stories continue to stay true to the focus of the series." -
